Hydraulic Oil PLUS (HEES)

Hydraulic Oil PLUS presents a high performance, fully synthetic, zinc-free, readily biodegradable hydraulic fluid based on a mixture of saturated and unsaturated synthetic esters. A special additive package delivers excellent extreme pressure properties, thermal oxidation resistance, anti-wear and non-foaming control.

Hydraulic Oil PLUS is produced at viscosity classes ISO VG 15/22/32/46/68/100

INDUSTRY PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

  • HEES : ISO 15380
  • EU Ecolabel licence no. CZ/27/001
  • Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) US EPA Vessel General Permit 2013 (VGP)

AREAS OF APPLICATION

Hydraulic Oil PLUS is specifically designed for use in all hydraulic systems, both hydrostatic and hydrodynamic. Hydraulic Oil PLUS is particularly recommended for operations in environmentally sensitive areas (forestry, marine, hydropower plants, earth-moving, construction, agriculture, etc.)

CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES

  • Great lubrication performances
  • Outstanding thermal oxidation stability
  • Wide operating temperature range, very low pour point
  • Very long oil-change interval > reduction in CO2 emissions
  • Neutral to seal materials and elastomers
  • Readily biodegradable; non-toxic, CO2 emissions reduction
  • EU Ecolabel Certificate of Environmental Excellence
  • With non-foaming additives

Parameters

Kin. viscosity at 40 °C The viscosity of a fluid is a measure of its resistance to gradual deformation by shear stress or tensile stress. 46 cSt
Kin. viscosity at 100 °C 9-10,5 cSt
Viscosity index The viscosity index (VI) indicates the change in kinematic viscosity of oils with temperature. A higher VI means less change in viscosity with temperature. BIONA bio-oils with a VI of up to 220. > 180
Density at 15 °C 910-930 kg/m3
Flash point The lowest temperature at which enough vapor escapes from a heated sample above its surface into the air that the resulting mixture of vapor and air ignites when an auxiliary flame is brought close to it and then extinguishes again. >250 °C
Pour Point The pour point of a liquid is the temperature below which the liquid loses its flow characteristics. <-40 °C
Biodegradability in 28 days Biologically sufficiently rapid decomposition of oil without effect on fauna and flora. Biological decomposition monitored by dissolved oxygen analysis over 28 days. >60
ISO-VG viscosity classification ISO VG 46
Base oil Synthetic oil
